Kosher

Cute.

Duct Tape Rose

This seems like a cool thing to make, so I'm mostly posting this for myself to come back to and try when I have some time.
I have loads of duct tape at home. Problem is, it's all standard army black... They'll make a lovely, if morbid, token of my affection to that lucky someone in my life.

Palm Painting

According to this there's plenty of wholesome activity you can do with your hands if you're bored.

Nkisi Project

N'kisi is a captive bred, hand raised Congo African Gray Parrot. He is 4-1/2 years old, and his species has a life span similar to humans. He has received teaching in the use of language for 4 years. He is now one of the world's top "language-using" animals, with an apparent understanding and appropriate usage of over 700 words.
Apparently, it can also read your mind.
At least I think so. It was a long read. And I didn't nap today.

Chad Vader - Day Shift Manager

Life is hard when you're Darth Vader's less-talented, less-charismatic younger brother and you manage a grocery store.

Monty Python's Spamalot Game

Protect your castle in good ol' Python fashion - Using airborne poultry and cattle of course!
Apparently, this game is A promotion for a new spammy product - A Monty Python themed Spam flavor: Spam with Stinky French Garlic.

Mmm... Spam...

Protein Synthesis. Acted Out By Hippies

On an open field at Stanford University in 1971, several hundred students convened to undulate and impersonate molecules undergoing protein ... all » synthesis by a ribosome. A few were trained dancers, wearing costumes and colored balloons to identify their roles; most were recruited with the promise of fun and refreshments.

Holy psychedelic protein synthesis batman...

Top Gear. Again.

I enjoy this show. I really do.

This time on Top Gear:
  • Simon Pegg from Shaun of the Dead
  • Some music from A Clockwork Orange - bonus
  • Sending a 30 year old car into orbit
The launch actually went surprisingly well. It's the whole coming back to earth bit that proved to be somewhat problematic.
Link 6 is the one with most of the shuttle action if you're impatient.

Kid Drawings

Redone by professional illustrators.

Graffiti Animation

I can do the same in my notebook. Only in mine, it's one stick figure humping another stick figure.
Still art though.

The Room

I am somewhat of an avid gamer, so once in awhile I might post some Über video of this or that game. The gaming industry is reaching unbelievable heights of realism these days, as may be witnessed in this somewhat long video:
(it's 11mins, but the real fun stuff happens at the second room with the portals so feel free to fast-forward)

Note that this video was recorded at 2005 and quite alot has changed since then.

Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew!

Mutated radioactive purple Chinese potatoes are apparently the new cuisine fad.

Big Giant Drain Hole

Seriously. It's big.

Top Gear Crew Gets Attacked by Rednecks

I know there are some Top Gear fans around here but this seemed to me like their worst idea yet. Honestly, what did they expect would happen?

Pumix says:
Entire episode here - and it's a funny one!
I give it about 8 hours before it's deleted...

FHM Kamasutra

Just in time for Valentine's, FHM is listing their favorite positions, appropriately demonstrated (there's video...) by lingerie models.

By the way, I personally invented all the ones you've never seen before.
It's true.

High Speed Hamster

I had some videos sitting on my desktop for a while, so today will be video day I guess.

Obviously it's quite risky trying to break your own high speed record.

Galileo Was Right!

Pshaw... Everybody knows this was filmed in a studio in the desert anyway...

Hands

Not sure what this hand has to do with beer.
Maybe it's an Irish thing....

Kittens - The review

As my current computer is abit of a junkpile, I've decided that an upgrade is in order. After some market-research regarding the current gizmos, I stumbled upon this review.

Apparently this guy decided to write a full technical review regarding his newest acquisition - a kitten.
Hilarious read, especially the Comparison and Conclusion at the bottom.

Run Pac-man Run

The Go! Team's newest video feature a 1970's style Ms. Pac-Man chase scene along New York City's streets. Apparently this isn't some new notion but Go's execution is far more funny.

A word of caution for the weak hearted, the ending isn't a happy one.

Slinky Chair

I kept thinking: "Yes. But would you sit on it?"
And the obvious answer is - no. Let innocent bystanders try the contraption.

Shower Methodology

I remember reading the text of this years ago.
Now somebody set up us the video.

Finnish Disco

It's been a while...
Goes out to Fuzz.

It also reminded me of this.

Free Software!

And legally, for a change.

This site offers different software for direct download every day, for free. No registering or paying a subscription fee is needed and they guarantee it to be 100% spyware free.

I didn't find any catch so-to-say. If anybody does, please enlighten us. In the meantime, it looks like a very nice initiative.

They also have a gaming section, here.

Troop of One Hundred

This is a clip from 'Troop of One Hundred', taken from a Japanese comedy/prank show, where a 100 people chase after random strangers and you see their reactions. Totally harmless but their reactions are priceless.

For a translation of what they're shouting:
- For the 1st and 2nd guys, they shout: "There's a tsunami!"
- For the 3rd guy they shout: "That's the guy!"
- Nothing for the 4th guy
- Last scene: "Watch out!"
