Sad Kermit

Kermit covers NIN's Hurt. And destroys some childhood fuzzy puppet memories in the process.

If you've ever only heard Cash's version of the song, you're welcome to familiarize yourself with the original You can't no 'mo.

Dexter

H4x0r that I am, I managed to track down this page offering direct download of the first season.
Now, it's far from being a quality show, mind you. But I find the general idea cool and it has its moments.

Keepon

Keepon is a robot project by Marek Michalowski of Carnegie Mellon University. It's capable of detecting beats and dancing accordingly.

What it should be is arrested, 'cause it stole my damn moves!

The song is by Spoon from their album Gimme Fiction which is quite enjoyable.

Desktop Defence

Yet another of the "defend thy..." themed games, only this time with a twist!
Nah, I kid I kid. It's the exact same.

As usual, skip it if you have any plans of being productive today...

#Potluck

Being random is actually much more difficult than it might appear.

This is extra freaky random, and I'm basically posting this just so I can shout at my loved ones "Miguel! Miguel! Punish me with a meal!"

Trapped in The Drive-Thru

Weird Al has finally released a video for his parody of R. Kelly's much maligned "Trapped In The Closet."

Blue Whale

The Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society has posted a life sized picture of a Blue Whale.

I got nothing... Opera joke maybe?

Stage6

Hooray! Episodes and porn in great quality!
Episodes of many shows are available for direct download or online viewing, all in divx quality.
You first have to install their own player, but it's quiet and unobtrusive so no trouble.

There'll probably be some catches and snags later on as this site develops, but right now it's all groovy.

Silly Molecules

Moronic Acid
This is for all you chemists - Real molecules that have unusual, ridiculous or downright silly names.
Prime examples includes the world famous Moronic Acid (see above), the sexy Sexithiophene and the ring shaped Arsole.

Switzerland - No Longer Neutral

Switzerland
This just in - The Swiss Army invaded Liechtenstein, accidentally they claim.

According to Swiss daily Blick, the 170 infantry soldiers wandered just over a mile across an unmarked border into the tiny principality early Thursday before realizing their mistake and turning back. Interior ministry spokesman Markus Amman said nobody in Liechtenstein had even noticed the soldiers, who were carrying assault rifles but no ammunition.

'One' Folding Bicycle

A concept bicycle that folds into that drum looking thing on the right.

What's even more interesting is its mentioned 'power assist system'. I'm hoping a little it will be tiny running hamsters.

Auto Park

Robotic parking garages seem to be quite effective and efficient.

Plus you get your car parked by a giant robot, which is freaking cool.

Filthy Food

It starts off nice enough, but then gets wrong very fast....

Not safe to be viewed by anyone, actually.

New Tag! NSFW.
That stands for "not safe for work". I'll include it in the future.

Whoa. I know Kong Fu

The Tamandua is one bad-ass anteater.

Also, I never thought of one as a pet! Now I totally want a tamandua too...

Strange Statues

Strange statues from around the world.

Precious Images

Precious Images is a snazzy compilation celebrating 50 years of film. It came out in 1986, won an Oscar and at one time was the most viewed short film in history.

It seems a kinda silly to me - everything flies by a bit too quickly to be interesting or nostalgic, but I suppose you can test your movie strength by watching this vast collection.

I was happy to see that I recognize most of 'em.

ATM Pooches

These dogs are trained to help disabled people withdraw cash from ATMs, load up the washing machine and shop.

Where do they keep your credit card I wonder?

This Post Is Not a Bomb

Things are a bit touchy in Boston now - police just blew up a traffic counting machine, which is just a faint echo of the Moonintes incident from last month.

This guy has decided to help put everyone's mind at ease.

Future Chair

When I go shopping for furniture I try to get the ones that look like they might come alive in my sleep and try to maim me.

Robot Sex

I love how completely useless the product of thousands (?) of hours of design turned out to be. Sure is funny though.

In other news - Dexter the robot has learned to walk and is quite bully resistant.

Magician Devlin

I give you Devlin - The Rock and Roll Magician!
He also does Bar-Mitzvah's, you can contact him on his myspace page.

Bubble Base Jump

Oh yeah. I'm extreme.

Spanking New Colours and Design

I have a test to study for.
So I did this instead.

Happy Purim, friends and spam bots!
